Stijn Devillé

Stijn Devillé (1974) is a theater maker and director of Het Nieuwstedelijk. He studied Roman literature and theater science at KU Leuven and the Université d’Avignon and theater directing at RITCS. His pieces are translated into French and German. La dissection d’un Homme Armé and Lev were turned into radio plays for the VRT. For Hitler’s death he received the Taalunie Toneelschrijfprijs 2009, Greed was nominated for a Sabam Award and he and his company Braakland / ZheBilding won the Culture Prize for the performing arts of the Flemish Community and the biennial Culture Prize of the KU Leuven.
