Ramón Gázquez

Antonio Ramón Gázquez (Quesada, 1990), PhD in theatre creation and criticism from the Universiteit Gent, a degree in Art History (Univ. de Málaga) and in Stage Direction and Dramaturgy (ESAD Málaga). He is currently professor of dramaturgy at ESAD Seville. He has conducted workshops at the Venice Biennale in 2015 and 2016. His awards include the 5th José Monleón Research Award from the Academy of Performing Arts of Spain and the MAX Award for Best New Show (2022). Among the theatre plays that he has directed are Virile (2019), Get out of the screen and kiss me (2019), Put your hands up (2020).
