Palestinian Lives and Letters

Having been subjected to settler-colonialism, occupation, and genocide, Palestinians are too often seen primarily and almost solely as political subjects/objects. Palestinian writers, in turn, are always summoned to be spokespersons for their people. This often unintentionally overshadows their art and subjectivity. This conversation will bring two Palestinian writers from two different generations to speak of their trajectories and personal experiences. Writers: Ibtisam Azem and Raja Shehadeh, moderated by Edgar Mannheimer and Kholod Saghir.
