Beskrivning

Bonnier Books UK publishes titles across a wide variety of genres for different ages and audiences. From crime to reading-group fiction, memoir to self-help, activity to young adult, we believe every book matters.

The Adult Trade Division is the largest division within Bonnier Books UK, home to ten imprints publishing a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles, from crime, thrillers and women's fiction to reading group and literary novels, from business books to health, wellbeing and cookery, and from narrative non-fiction to history, biography and memoir. We have offices in London, Edinburgh and Dublin.

Commercial Fiction:

  • Zaffre, our flagship adult imprint. From exciting debut talents to established stars and iconic brand names, Zaffre has a long-established track record for delivering popular and award-winning bestsellers across all formats. From Heather Morris to Michael Ball, T.M. Logan to Rosie Goodwin, Lynda La Plante to Wilbur Smith, we’re proud to bring our acclaimed authors to the widest possible audience.
  • Embla Books, digital-first publisher of standout commercial adult fiction, with a strong track record of creating bestsellers and establishing author brands.
  • Echo Publishing. Agile, versatile, and proudly Australian, Echo Publishing publishes books that entertain, inform, and enlighten with a focus on wonderful storytelling and building bridges to understanding.

Commercial Non-Fiction:

  • Blink Publishing is focused firmly on the world of commercial adult non-fiction. With an emphasis on the official and authorised, Blink’s bestselling titles seek to explore the vibrant world of popular culture – whether that’s with a rigorously-researched royal biography or a superstar comedian’s hilarious coming-of-age memoir.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing:

  • LEAP is new non-fiction imprint publishing books to inform, inspire and spark positive change. Led by Publisher Carole Tonkinson, the LEAP list will include, but is not limited to, lifestyle and wellbeing books: it will feature cultural conversations, highlight important issues and platform individuals who are beacons of hope.

Literary

  • Manilla Press: A boutique home for high-quality literary and reading group fiction; for books that get you talking and stories that endure. Our handpicked list sparks conversation, moves and transports you and begs to be pressed into other readers’ hands. Our authors include Stacey Halls, Christi Lefteri and Satoshi Yagisawa.
  • Ithaka: Dedicated to books which shed a light on important topics and take you on journeys into the unknown, with a particular focus on narrative non-fiction and works in translation.
  • Footnote: An award-winning platform for marginalised stories and perspectives. Our publishing programme spans stimulating and politically-engaged fiction and non-fiction.

Local Publishing

  • Black & White: Based in Edinburgh, we are committed to publishing the best books from the most talented writers in Scotland, the UK and beyond.
  • Eriu: Based in Dublin and named for the Irish sovereignty goddess, Eriu is a home for fiction, non-fiction and children's books that have a connection to Ireland.

The offspring of Bonnier Books, a family-owned global publisher headquartered in Sweden, we are inspired by a rich literary heritage but not bound by convention. We think in generations rather than quarters, and strive always to operate in an open, curious way that contributes to the future of the planet and its people.

We are an active participant in the Science Based Target initiative, committed to a strategy to limit global warming to 1.5 °C.
