Ulla Saar

Ulla Saar (b. 1975) is an illustrator, comic book author and Director of Foreign Relations at the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre. She holds an MA in Design from the Estonian Academy of Arts (2001) and studied as an exchange student at the Department of Design of the School of Arts, Design and Architecture at Aalto University in Finland. She has been working as a designer for many years and has illustrated more than 40 children’s books, curated and taken part in international illustration exhibitions and received multiple awards and nominations.
