Ian De Toffoli

Ian De Toffoli (Luxembourg, 1981), writer, playwright and academic, is the author of essays and award winning fiction books and plays, including the biggest price for Luxembourgish Literature, the Prix Servais for Léa ou la théorie des systèmes complexes (2026). His play Terres arides has represented Luxembourg at the Avignon OFF in 2022, and the monologue Tiamat has been highlighted in a reading by the Comédie Française in 2023. His theatre blends fiction, documentary and myth, with a strong societal and political focus. He writes mainly in French.
