Caroline Merola

Caroline Merola has been drawing since she was very young. With her pencils and coloured ink, she draws animals, forests, friendly monsters and children who are not always friendly… Her own children, Béatrice and Olivier, their friends and the children she encounters in classrooms are an inexhaustible source of ideas for her. She is the author and illustrator of more than 50 books published in Canada and the United States and translated into English, Czech and even Arabic! She has been a finalist on several occasions for the Governor General’s Award and won the prize in 2011 for her book, Li
